BD Bactec™ MGIT™ 960
Description:
Catalog # 445870
BD Bactec™ MGIT™ 960 System is the only high throughput fully automated system to meet the requirement of a TB lab. System can accomodate 960 samples at time and thanks towards automatic sensitivity reports generation capability which leads to minimum user interaction.System works on advance flourscence technology for giving rapid and accurate reports.
The BD Bactec™ MGIT™ 960 is an advanced, fully automated system for the rapid detection of mycobacteria, including Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex, in clinical specimens. It uses the Mycobacteria Growth Indicator Tube (MGIT) technology, which is based on oxygen consumption by actively growing bacteria, detected through a fluorescence-based sensor.
This system is designed to provide faster, more reliable results than traditional culture methods, significantly improving the turnaround time for tuberculosis (TB) and non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) testing.
The system is user-friendly, with an intuitive interface, automated sample loading, and built-in quality control measures. It is compatible with standard laboratory workflows and offers seamless data management and integration with laboratory information systems (LIS).
